One of THOSE Days!

Did you ever have one of those days - you know, where nothing goes right?

My best friend left on vacation - won't see her for a month.

I went to weed wack my yard - I couldn't get the string out of the machine. I couldn't find the manual for it on the internet. When I finally got it working, the string kept disappearing - gave up on that one.

Went to cut some deck boards into shorter lengths to take to the dump - couldn't get the circular saw to work. When I finally got it working I couldn't get it to cut all the way through the board - gave up on that one.

Started trimming back my lilac tree so I could walk on the side walk - got a freshly cut stick in my eye behind my glasses - ouch!

Dug up some ant hills I previously annihilated - guess I didn't get kill them all since some crawled up the leg of my coveralls and bit me!

Checked the oil in the lawn mower - there isn't ANY! Not sure if its going to start when I get around to mowing the lawn.

Ran out of cold pop.

Went to the bottle depot - got in line behind a guy with a very loud car and loud, crappy music - tried to drown him out with The Sound Of Music soundtrack but his shitbox's stereo was bigger than mine.

Two potentially hung over, but perhaps just still drunk guys stood next to me in the bottle depot line and exhaled yesterday's excesses all over me.

Stood down wind while power washing the car.

Went out for supper, two on the motorbike, two in the 'vette. Got trapped by construction - making it a ten minute detour to Arby's. Then found out the 'vette people decided we should eat at Ricky's - took us another ten minutes to get around the construction again.

Finally got to the pool for a soak in the hot tub only to discover it closed fifteen minutes ago.
