On November 11/09 I finished my 30 day yoga challenge. I stayed true to the spirit of the challenge and went for one class a day, every day for 30 (count 'em), 30 days in a row.
What did I learn??????
I am way more bendy now then when I started.
I don't stink since I sweat all the crap out of every single pore of my body.
If you lay down on your back and raise your forearms the sweat running down feels like spiders crawling on your skin (it feels way cooler than it sounds).
Speedos should be outlawed in hot yoga!
Newbies invariably wear way too much clothing.
Some silly women fix their hair, put on makeup and deodorant PRIOR to class.
Yoga at 6:30am is NOT a bad thing.
My starting an IV on a single poke success rate skyrockets after 6:30am yoga.
Nothing tastes like Moksha water.
AND...I made new friends AND ate some great food (and the pink punch) at the retox party AND won a prize!!!!
Rumors abound there will be another 30 day challenge in January. Keep checking the Moksha website for details.
